Yesterday (in all its 60 degree glory), Abbie and I went to the zoo. It was our first trip of 2010. It was so wonderful to get outside and walk around. The walking was especially wonderful after spending six weeks on limited activity restrictions from my surgeon. My back even survived the hour I spent walking around. Hurray!
I'll spare you all of the animal pictures, and just show you Abbie. Yes, I am aware that Abbie, on most days, might be animal enough to belong in the zoo. Just kidding! Sort of.

Sometimes it's utterly terrifying to me, how much this girl looks like her momma.
