Biking Solo

Nate learned to ride his bike without training wheels!  Then Abbie did, too!  I guess I should say without training wheels, but with pedals.  On the advice of some friends, we took the pedals off of Nate's and Abbie's bikes earlier this spring.  This helped them learn to balance and "cruise."  Earlier this week, we put the pedals back on both of their bikes and, Voila!  Nate learned to ride alone!  Abbie, however, never allowing herself to be left behind, learned about two days later.  Unbelievable!  Riding a two-wheeler at the age of four.  That's my girl!  I'm so proud of these guys--Nate was absolutely petrified of riding his bike, but he overcame that fear and loves it now.  And Abbie... She's only four!  Her determination is a force to be reckoned with.
