Thanksgiving

You start with good company...

Add a few stinkin' adorable kids...

Eat with fine china and sterling silverware...

And finish with about a pie per person...

And what do you get?  An amazing Thanksgiving!

I have so much for which to be thankful this year.  I won't even try to list it all because I literally would never finish.  But I do have to say that I am incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful husband and two beautiful children.  And also friends.  I don't know where I'd be without my friends.

I'm also very grateful for my grandma.  My Grandma Urs died just over two years ago.  But I was reminded of her nearly constantly this Thanksgiving.  So many of the things we used to make our dinner lovely were hers.  I love that when I pull out the tablecloth, I think of her.  And when I look at our furniture, I think of her.  There were so many moments in which she flooded my memories this weekend.  I miss her.  A lot.  But I'm grateful for the many years that I had to be with her and for the reminders I have to help keep her legacy alive in my home and for my family.
