Mommy-Nate Date

I seriously love our Mommy-Nate dates.  Nate and I don't get to spend much time alone, so when we do, I revel in it.  Nate is my little heaven on earth.  Fun, sweet, honest--My relationship with him is more than I ever could have hoped for.

For our last date, we ate lunch at Chili's (Nate ate a grilled chicken breast with a salad) and then we stopped by Toys R Us.  There we completely splurged (part birthday present) and bought the Harry Potter Lego set of the Weasley's Burrow.  Nate is a Lego fiend; I'm aspiring to be more like him.  But spending an afternoon on Legos and Harry Potter fits both of our dreams.  We had such a blast building the set--It took us a couple of hours!  It's provided countless hours of playtime for our whole family.  I'd prefer Lego Harry Potter to playing Baby any day.  Win-win!
