Enjoying the Outdoors

There are fifteen kids on our block (just on our street) from Noah's age up to high school. The majority of the kids, however, are elementary school kids. This is absolutely wonderful for Nate and Abbie. Every day after school, the kids run inside for a quick snack, then run back outside to play with their neighborhood friends. They roller blade, bike, play soccer, play make-believe, create concoctions with whatever nasty awesome stuff nature gives them, and just run around. This is the childhood that I remember, always being outside with my sisters and our friends. I absolutely love that this is such a big part of their lives these days. The only downside, now that they are out every single day, is that all the neighborhood kids see me in my super fashionable outfits pajamas every afternoon. Oh well, I guess there are worse things, right?
