Disney World 2012

Last October we were blessed to able to visit Disney World with Alan's Dad, youngest brother and his family. Here are some photos from our trip!

This is how much stuff we needed in the park every single day. Oi.

Termite mounds. Yuck.

This giraffe walked right on up to us!

Alan took me to lunch at the fancy french restaurant in Paris (Epcot). It was heavenly.
A double date with Michael and Hannah, late at night, after the kids were asleep in the hotel with Grandpa
Good to go
Birthday breakfast! You just can't beat that...

Sleepy James

Maybe not your size, but your face?
I made these bracelets/anklets for all the kids with my cell phone number on them, just in case somebody got lost. Turns out my anxiety paid off when Nate wandered off in a different direction and disappeared. It was the scariest five minutes of my life, but he found a Disney worker and asked them to call the number. We found him right after that.

We had an amazing trip with Grandpa Randy, Michael, Hannah, and James. We are looking forward to going back again this year with ALL of Alan's family. (I'm extra lucky because we're going over my birthday for the second year in a row! I'm also very lucky that I married into a family who loves Disney World so much....)

  1. Great post! You are such a good photographer. I started my Disney World blog post last year and have never finished it, but maybe I can use you as inspiration to just do it.

I also feel lucky to have married into this Disney World-loving family. :) It will be great to be with you, birthday girl, and all the Dimonds there this fall.

  2. So many things I want to say! But the only one that is coming to mind right now is that I totally grew up chopping off the top and bottom of Christmas trees because my dad was always hopeful that somehow our ceiling had grown three feet in our tree hunting adventures. And I love the picture of Noah in the carry-on sizer. Ha ha!
