In honor of Star Wars Day, I made a Star Wars meal for dinner. (Can you tell that Star Wars is big at our house right now?)

I must confess that it took some convincing to post this next picture. I attempted to create a cake with Darth Maul's face on it. I'm utterly embarrassed by how it turned out. Can you say Cake Wreck?

Despite the hideousness of the cake and the poor nutritional content of the meal, the kids were in heaven. We might have to make this a tradition. Minus the cake...
I don't see anything wrong with the cake! I think it looks good. Honest opinion - and kudos to you for making an awesomely fun meal for your kids!
ReplyDeleteSo I must have pregnancy brain because I totally didn't make the connection between the post title and the post until John said it out loud. Clever!
ReplyDeleteMichael and I think the Darth Maul cake is pretty awesome. And we play a lot of Lego Star Wars video games, so... :)
ReplyDeleteI love the double light sabers. Great idea! And the cake is great-- at least 50 times better decorated than any cake I've made. :) Yum yum. Despite my excitement about Star Wars Day, I did NOTHING to celebrate it this year. Thankfully no one else around here minded.
ReplyDeletewhat great ideas! star wars is a favorite in our house too. fun stuff!
