Karma?

Remember this? We ended our day today with Abbie flying face first off the couch, smashing her nose into the coffee table. I will never forget the slow-motion vision of her falling, nor will I be able to remove the sound of her face hitting the table and her panicked scream that followed. The blood started to pour from both nostrils immediately, running into her mouth, which led me to believe that she had broken her nose and knocked her front teeth loose, as well.

The Bad News
--Of course this all happened on an evening Alan had to work late
--Abbie will probably have a swollen and bruised nose, if not at least one black eye
--I had to run without my crutches
--My Twilight shirt will never be the same

The Good News
--Alan came home sooner than we had thought he would
--Abbie's nose is not broken (we're fairly confident) and she did not knock any of her teeth out
--I can run without my crutches
--The blood stains really add to the authenticity of my Twilight shirt

Never a dull moment...
