Crazy, crazy, crazy
My family is crazy. I'm just throwing that out there--
"I need to go poo-poo. Can I sit on your lap?" --Abbie
"I don't want to go to sleep. I want some Coke." --Abbie (She NEVER gets Coke. Can you imagine this girl on caffeine?)
"What's wrong with your face?" --Nate to me after I put some cream on a zit
"Do you want me to pour this on you?" --Me to Abbie
"No." --Abbie
"Then stop whining." --Me
Then there's this crazy bird outside, well, I think Alan made it crazy. I have two hanging plants on our front porch. It's been raining like crazy, so while we were trying to prevent flooding, I asked Alan to put them out in the rain to get some water. (Yeah, it's been a while since I remembered and I can't reach them.) So he pulls down the first plant and this crazy bird flies out straight onto the overhang of the porch. We see baby birds in a nest in the plant (yeah, it's been that long since I watered...), so we put it back as fast as we can. Meanwhile, this freaky bird is flying headfirst into the overhang over and over and over again. Finally it flew down into a bush. Then like 10 seconds later, it shot straight up and into the overhang again. Crikey! About 10 hits later, it settled down. I think that Alan woke it up or something (it was night) and it was just totally disoriented. I watched it out the window and eventually it went back to the nest.
Still no paci today--Yeah! She's asked for it a few times, but seems okay without it (knock on wood). That's all.

Ryan and I just had a great laugh at the things your kids say. It makes us a little nervous as to what our two kids will eventually say. The funny thing is that I can hear my niece saying a lot of the same things Abbi says.
