Abbie Does Ballet (sort of)

Abbie started her ballet class today. We will be going every Tuesday at 9 AM. Her class is at Storybook Ballet, on the lower level of Hilldale Mall. She did great getting into her pink tights, pink leotard with a skirt and her ballet shoes. We even put her hair in a ponytail. She was so excited! Abbie spent about 85% of the 45 minute class standing against a wall with her fingers in her mouth. She was not going to participate. Period. The story that they were doing today was one of the Olivia stories. They put on Olivia costumes with pig ears! Abbie refused. I stuck my head in the door and motioned for her to come over to me. I asked her if she wanted a costume and she shook her head, no. I asked her if she was having fun. She nodded. So I said, "Go put on a costume and dance or we're going home." Off she went. She did great the rest of the class. My little stubborn, you can't make girl. She is somethin', alright! She said that she's going to do everything next week. :) See Abbie in the video below!
