My Nate Is Growing Up

Last Friday AND today, Nate has gone to school and said goodbye without crying. What an achievement! Although the pride I felt for him last Friday caused me to cry, I was able to hold it until I got to the car. He's really growing up. Today Nate had to get 4 shots (Kindergarten shots). He was so brave--He only cried during the shots, and then stopped immediately after. He got to pick out 4 pencils and a sticker. After school today, Nate yelled to a friend from his class! "Tommy! Tommy!" I was so proud of him--That's the first time that I've seen him be outgoing on his own towards another kid from school. I'm so proud of my Nate. Is it normal to feel like you're losing your baby when they're only 5 years old? I thought that that was supposed to happen with they move away from home??? Anyways, YEA FOR NATE!
