Abbie Can Write!

During quiet time, Abbie was doing some coloring. Then she asked me, "Mama, how do I write Abbie?" I just spelled it for her: A-b-b-i-e. I didn't write it down--I didn't show her! Then I looked over and this is what she had written. Holy moly! Apparently Abbie can write and knows a lot more about her letters than I gave her credit for. Sometimes when Nate's doing his reading, Abbie chimes in with words. I just assumed that she was filling in common phrases or things she'd heard before, but now I'm starting to wonder... I'm a proud mommy today!
