Renewing Our Supply

I love apple butter.  I remember my mom making when I was small.  Every fall, we go pick apples at a local orchard.  Then we turn them into pies, sauce, other apple goodies, and apple butter.  Apparently I'm not the only one who likes it so much, though.  Our apple butter supply, which usually last all year, is gone!  Tragedy!  My husband, the amazing man that he is, secretly made more apple butter.   He went to the store for apples, found my recipe, and cooked this apple butter, all while I was recovering in bed.  It's scrumptious!  Thanks, Love!

  1. I love apple butter! We had a pear tree in our back yard growing up, and so rather than using apples, my mom would use pears, but it's basically the same recipe, and oh, so yummy. I'm glad you share in this love.

  2. Oh my gosh, that looks so good. Can I have some the next time I come over?!?!?! If you haven't eaten it all. :)
